Meet Dr. Chang

Olivia Chang, M.D.

Dr. Olivia Chang, MD, MPH, FACOG, is a female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgeon, also known as a urogynecologist. She is a board-certified Ob/Gyn and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at UC-Irvine. She received her medical doctor degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and her master’s in public health at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed her OB/GYN residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School followed by a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Prior to joining UC-Irvine, Dr. Chang was an Assistant Professor at the University of Washington at the Pelvic Health Center.

Dr. Chang is committed to ensuring that all patients have access to high-quality treatment for pelvic organ prolapse, urinary issues, and those with congenital or acquired conditions that require vaginal reconstruction. When patients see her in the office, they will be welcomed with kindness and patience. It can feel isolating to have pelvic floor disorders, so she takes the time to ensure they are educated on their condition and the treatment options. Her goal is to help them overcome these conditions and help them live the life that they want. She believes in individualized, patient-centered care. She will work closely with every patient to identify the problems and offer evidence-based solutions based on their wishes.
